Dr. Suzanne Wallace
I have wanted to be a dentist since the age of 8. I have always enjoyed helping others and helping others improve their smiles is just an added bonus to my job. The children I get to work with are the highlights of my day. Hearing their stories, learning of their accomplishments, and watching them and their families grow, I feel, is the essence of being a pediatric dentist!
I was born and raised in Kentucky not too far north of the Nashville area. I attended Transylvania University in Lexington Kentucky and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2003. I then received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2007. While there, I served as the president of the American Academy of Women Dentists organization and coordinated both the Saturday Morning Clinics for underprivileged children as well as the annual ASDA day vendor fairs. Finally, I completed a Pediatric Dental residency program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and received my certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2009.
I am a Board Certified pediatric dentist. I am an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and I support Healthy Smiles Healthy Children, a foundation of the AAPD. I am also involved an interdisciplinary dental study club as I feel education should be continual in my profession.
I enjoy being an active member of the Wilson County community as well and am a proud member of the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce. As an office we proudly support local sports teams, local school performances, as well as many local fundraising events. Being involved and supporting the community I live in, is extremely important to me. In just the few short years my family and I have lived here the growth we have seen is amazing and we can’t wait to see what is in store for Wilson County.
When I am not working, I am loving life as a mommy to 2 amazing, smart and energetic boys, Preston and Henry, and am spending as much time with them and my husband as possible. We all also proudly cheer on the Kentucky Wildcats!
